There are a lot of good resources on the web related to Linksys WRT54GL, but not really for the Linksys WRT160NL, yet.
Remember, that installing alternative firmwares will void your official warranty but will improve the functionality of the product a big time :)

This page has been created to give a very detailed description how to make this router a torrent-enabled, printer supporting box using the user-friendly DD-WRT firmware and OpenWRT repository :) Having said, that torrent is referring to a widely used P2P protocol, and since a lot of companies are enabling their customers to download content via torrent, therefore this function is one of the most useful features we will encounter :)
