- Install DD-WRT on the WRT160NL by replacing the Linksys firmware
- Enable Internet access on the WRT160NL with DD-WRT
- Create an ext3 drive which you will use with the USB port of the router
- Make sure you know, how to read data from this drive under windows/Mac OS
- Enable USB support on WRT160NL
- Connect the ext3 formatted drive
- Configure DD-WRT properly on WRT160NL (fix some config related issues)
